Canberra's Own World Cancer Day Cricket Tickets

Canberra, our nation's capital has been known for its generosity towards various charity causes over the years.

Here is another opportunity to unite our passion for sports and translate it into a meaningful event that brings the whole community in support of World Cancer Day. It is in that context The McGrath Foundation, and the ACT Cancer Council (beneficiaries of this event) are endorsing this special inaugural Charity Cricket Event. As organisers of this inaugural event, we hope this will grow into an annual Canberra day of "Supporting the Fighters, Admiring the Survivors and celebrating Hope".

In addition to raising funds for the chosen charities, our objectives are to:

• Promote community engagement
• Educate the local community, especially children and young people, importance and awareness of the World Cancer Day
• Progress conversations regarding the prevention and care of cancer sufferers in Canberra with a focus on the ACT Capital region
• Continue to support Australia's contribution towards World Cancer Day.

On this occasion of Celebrating the World Cancer Day in Canberra, we are delighted to join forces with Indian Australian Multicultural Sporting Association (IAMSA), the organisers of the Canberra Pink Stumps Day for the past decade.
